WOKSSA Tennis Festival 2007

On Thursday 26 April, the first ever WOKSSA tennis festival was held at Angley School – A Sports College. The festival was organised by the Tunbridge Wells School Sports Partnership and run by Sue Bamford. Sue runs her own company "The Sue Bamford School of Tennis", is a TDA level 3 LTA qualified and licensed coach and has been developing tennis for over 20 years. She is also an LTA qualified Tutor.

In total, 90 players representing 10 schools attended the festival and took part in a range of different tennis related skills and activities. Tenterden, Lamberhurst, John Mayne, Colliers Green, Woodchurch, High Halden, Goudhurst, Frittenden, Benenden, Marden and St Michaels all sent squads to take part. At the end of the skills activities, schools competed in a range of tennis relays to win tennis related goodies!
