The WOKSSA TAG Rugby Festival was held at Cranbrook Rugby Club on Thursday May 11.
Each school that attended was asked to represent a different country and players were encouraged to dress in that team’s national colours.

One school had to drop out of the competition at late notice so an All-Stars team was formed in their place. The All-Stars played as ‘England’ and this team comprised squad players from a number of schools who came together solely for the purposes of the festival to play together.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mandy Stevenson (providing refreshments from the clubhouse) and the players from Cranbrook Rugby Club (refereeing) who kindly volunteered their services for the event. Sports Leaders from Angley and Homewood School also did a great job as pitch managers and scorekeepers.
