On Thursday May 25, Benenden School hosted the 2006 WOKSSA Swimming Festival. In total, 14 primary schools competed at breastroke, backstroke, front crawl and also a freestyle (year 5) and medley relay (year 6).

Schools were placed into groups based on school size and competed only against schools in their own group. After 48 races, Colliers Green won the Small Schools Group, Sandhurst won in the Medium Schools group and Staplehurst won the Large Schools Group. Leaders from Angley and Homewood School were a great help assisting with race organisation and scoring.
