For the very first time, a Rounders tournament was held for primary schools as part of the WOKSSA Sports Festival programme. The event took place on Tuesday June 27 at Angley School. 18 teams competed from 14 different schools; an excellent turn-out considering how busy the summer term already is with regards to school sports activities.

Teams were placed into small groups for the first round and played each other in a round robin format.

Congratulations to Rolvenden who beat Staplehurst A in the final by just one rounder. It was an excellent match to conclude the first WOKSSA Rounders Festival with. Congratulations also to Marden and High Halden who shared the Fair Play trophy.
Thank you to Hannah Frarey and Vicki Benbow who organised the festival and also to the Angley Sports Leaders for their help with umpiring and scorekeeping.
