The 2006 WOKSSA Athletics Meet was held at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford on Thursday 13 July. Ten schools attended, each bringing along a team of 16 athletes. Teams comprised of 2 boys and 2 girls from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. One athlete from each school competed in at least one track and one field event.

Athletes took part in the track events hurdles and sprints and the field events standing long jump and javelin. Schools also took part in a series of exciting relays to conclude the meet.
