Special Schools Sportshall Athletics Competition 2007

On Tuesday March 13, seven special schools from the South East took part in the Special Schools Sportshall Athletics competition organised by the Tunbridge Wells School Sports Partnership. Students from Bradfields, Sunnydown, Broomhill Bank, Orchard, Ifield, Bower Grove, Oakley competed both individually and as a team in five events at Tunbridge Wells Indoor Sports Centre. There were four categories; Under 14 Girls and Boys and Under 16 Boys and Girls.

Special Schools Sportshall Athletics Competition 2007

This was the second year that the competition had been run and with 100 competitors taking part, the event was even bigger than in 2006. There were some outstanding performances during the day and all teams showed great sportsmanship throughout. Sports Leaders from St Gregory’s Catholic Comprehensive School officiated each event and were a fantastic help in making the day such a success.

Competition 2007

Congratulations to Sunnydown Boys and Broomhill Bank Girls for winning their respective categories.

The Tunbridge Wells School Sports Partnership would like to thank the following:
