TWDPSSA Sports Stacking Festival 2007

On Wednesday 12 December, 96 individual stackers making up 24 teams from eight different schools attended the TWDPSSA Sport Stacking championships at Tunbridge Wells High School. Claremont, Langton Green, St. Barnabus, St. Peters, Oakley, St. Marks, St. James and St. Matthews Primary Schools all took part in the competition.
Ron Parker from Speedstacks Ltd UK ran the event superbly to include 3-3-3, 3-6-3 and 3-6-3 team relay events. Individuals had the opportunity to record three timed attempts at the 3-3-3 and 3-6-3 with the fastest time being recorded and used for the final placing.
Support from teachers, parents and friends was fantastic and everyone cheered on the competitors to encourage them to their best times. All participants, ranging from year three to year six, had a great time and many are looking for Santa to bring a set of cups and a stack mat!
