Out of the 24 players, the partnership was looking for four players to go through to the finals – an under 13 boy and girl and an under 15 boy and girl. TWSSP staff kept a watchful eye as each player played two singles games against other players in their age group. Every player showed a high level of concentration and commitment in their shots and there were some fantastic finishes.

After playing singles games, staff paired up the players and looked at how they played as pairs. Once again there were some strong shots and staff were impressed. It was to be a difficult decision as to who gets picked for the finals but with a good quality of players in the qualification stage, TWSSP are set to do well in the KSG.

Thanks go to TWGGS for hosting the trials and TWSSP staff for their organisation in the trials.
