All week the children at St James have been treated to a variety of dance activities thanks to a visit from dance specialist Chloë Treherne. She has taught all the children following our theme of Opposites.

Reception enjoyed doing a dance about The Ugly Duckling whilst Year 1 danced to Rumble in the Jungle and Year 2 chased their shadows round the playground, then in pairs created their own shadow dance! Not only have the children had great fun, but I think that the staff have picked up a few good ideas too!

Among other things the children have also enjoyed an Early Morning Club, Aerobics at break time, and a few lucky children have been taking part in a lunchtime club where they have helped to choreograph their very own dance for The Lion King which they performed brilliantly in assembly on Thursday.
