TWGGS U14 netball team went to Rainham for the annual Kent Tournament. Wanting to defend their current title as Kent Champions for the last 2 years, the team were under a lot of pressure.

TWGGS started the tournament off with a bang winning their first 3 games. TWGGS won their next three matches against Dartford Grammar, Kent College Canterbury and Colfe’s convincingly meaning they flew into the next round.

In the second round TWGGS came up against Newstead Wood and won a tough game. We progressed to the quarter final game and won which lead to a nervous Semi final against Sevenoaks. TWGGS feared this could be the end due to the fact that they had been beaten by them the night before. TWGGS looked the stronger team throughout and came through with a convincing win of 9-2. TWGGS stormed through a tense game defeating TGGS 10-3 to become Kent Champions for the 3rd year running.

Congratulations to the whole team who have now qualified for the South East finals in January.
