A group of athletes from Broomhill Bank School took part in the National Cross-country Championships, organized by Mencap.

On Friday 30 June, 32 primary schools and 8 special schools contested the Finals at Aylesford Rugby Club. The TWSSP had 3 representatives in the Finals; Colliers Green won the WOKSSA festival earlier in the year and Claremont and St Augustines had shared the trophy at the Tunbridge Wells event.

On Wednesday December 7th pupils from St Augustine’s, Langton Green and St Matthew’s Primary Schools participated in a hockey workshop at St John’s Leisure Centre. The afternoon was organised by Chris MacDonald, supported by JSLA students from St Gregory’s School.

Staff at St Gregorys School, including Chris MacDonald (SSCo), recently coordinated a cross curricular project on India involving students from Art, Dance and Music departments. Staff and students from each of these subject areas helped to create a wonderful performance based on the story of Ganesh and other Indian festivals.
