Updated: March 22, 2010 2:42 PM

On Tuesday 03 February 2010 Wittersham Primary School hosted its first Intra House Speed Stacking Competition. This was organised with the support of the year 5 and 6 young leaders and run by the Homewood SSCo, Mr Foot. The competition would involve all pupils from the school competing against each other for their individual Houses; Hever, Leeds, Bodiam and Scotney to determine which House was the fastest.

Over the past month pupils have been building up to the afternoon’s competition by having lunch time training session with the schools Young Sports Leaders (Year 5 & 6 Pupils). They received training in the three different stacks that they would be taking part in with the competition being split into three sections;

Year 1, 2, 3 & 4 pupils had to compete the 3 3 3 Stack (each child had 2 attempts to record their fastest time)
Year 5 and 6 pupils had to compete the 3 3 3 Stack and the 3 6 3 Stack
